Hi, would appreciate some help, I read a few of the pinned posts and di some research but still unclear on a few points.
So I am a PR, have been so for the last 2 years and working for almost all of them. My potential spouse (marriage partner) lives abroad in the Middle East (home country for both of us) and I want to know the best/quickest way to bring her to Canada on a permanent basis if everything goes as planned and we end up marrying in our home country. This would be a full fledged marriage not common-law/conjugal.
I've seen mention of applying for an open work permit, staying on it until a PR application is completed. Another option is applying for a TRV (and keep renewing) until a PR application is completed. Not sure if these are valid options or not.

Only option to bring your spouse to Canada before PR is a TRV.
Your spouse will only qualify for an OWP if the OWP is submitted together with an inland spousal sponsorship application. To apply for inland sposnorship, your spouse must be phycially in Canada (which requires a TRV).
