Hi!
I´m a PR in Canada since May-09. When I moved here my ex-husband would´nt let me bring my son. I did all the paperwork for him but had to checkmark "not accompanying". Now his father changed his mind and will let him live with me, after he´s finished school in spring 2010. Do I have to redo all those applications or is there a shorter way to do it in this situation?

You will have to sponsor the child who will require a new medical. Also you will require written permission from the father to allow the child to emigrate.

Thank you very much PMM for your answer.

Hi again!
PMM or someone else that really knows about this, could you please tell me if I´m good with IMM 1344A, 1344B and IMM 5481 and then enclose a copy of both sides of my permanent resident card. Medical and approval to move is ok with his father. I can´t find any dokument that tells me exactly what forms to use for "only" a dependent child.
So thankfull for your replies.
Malin
according to this link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp
you need to fill in the same forms as for spousal application.
Thanks for your answer Suin
At the end of IMM 5406 (Additional Family Information) they want the signature of the applicant. Is it okey for me to sign for my son (since he is in Sweden, and under 18)? If HE have to sign, is it okey doing it via a scanned dokument?
no, scanned signature will not work. how old is your son? if he is older than 12, so I guess, the best way is to send the form to your son to sign it and return it back to you by mail.
