My wife and I have applied for PR back in January 15, 2019 with my wife as the primary applicant. Our nationality is Indian.
I have done my PhD in Canada from 2013-2017 and have worked with open PG WP for one year from Aug, 2017-Aug,2018. My wife came to Canada on open work permit in Feb, 2017 based on spouse visa.
Recently, I moved to USA on H1b and my work permit for Canada is still valid till September 2019. However, my wife's work permit has expired in between and she applied for a bridging work permit back in Feb 04, 2019.
We did not hear from cic about anything yet (neither on PR or bridging WP). Under these confusing situations, I have the following questions:
1. If my wife's bridging WP gets refused/rejected, should she leave Canada immediately OR can she stay in Canada by applying for a visitor visa till we get a decision on PR?
2. If bridging WP gets refused/rejected, does that mean the chances of getting PR approved is also slim?
