Hi
My name is Nur. I am living in Canada right now on work permit. It's been 2 years now in Canada and did not go back to my home country (India). I want to invite my boyfriend here to visit. I know, it would be very difficult. Our relationship is not public. So, I need your suggestions, what we can show to express our relationship.
and other thing is, he is doing business with his father. So, the business obvious be on his father name. So, typical he dont have any property in his own name. But he has some money in his account. and he also have income tax returns.
I am also little bit confused what we can add, which shows strongly that he would definitely come back to india?
Guys, could you please help and suggest me, what we can add in our file.

Really appreciate it

IMO, based on your post, the chances of your boyfriend getting a TRV are almost slim to none. You would not want to set your expectations high and start making any plans of him visiting until he is actually issued a TRV.

As matters are:
1. He is unable to prove any employment ties as he works in a family-managed business. Or has his dad appointed him as an employee + your bf earns a salary every month by checks/salary transfers to his bank account?

2. No property ownership or a lease agreement.

3. Has he traveled to other visa countries for short visits?

4. Declaring your relationship would almost certainly lead to a visa refusal, but at the same time, you would not want to be dishonest in visas applications to IRCC

5. Does he volunteer for social or charity causes? And he can prove this with evidence?

6. Is he enrolled in a study program?

Hello Nur,

I am in process of getting my GF Visitor visa for Canada.

What I am showing is she is my friend and would like to visit me to Canada. Currently she is pursuing her masters in India.

Documents we are supporting for her visa application is:
1. Her admission letter from university
2. She also gets paid good amount as a Doctor while she is studying, so we are showing that as her savings.
3. Supporting letter from her parents
4. Supporting letter from me as a financial support
5. She has traveled to US and UK in last 5 years so we are showing those visa stamps
6. Passport copy with all pages

I would suggest you get below documents for your bf to get visa:
1. Bank statement which is in his name
2. bank statement from his father
3. Supporting letter from his father
4. Supporting letter from you
5. Show ties back home with IT Returns past 3 years
6. Your bank statement past 6 months
7. Your paystubs last 3 months

Additional letter if he can support. I think having all these documents will not be a problem to get a visa. Good Luck.
