Hi.

Yesterday, I applied for a BOWP (i applied for PR in May). My current permit (IEC) expires November 18.

Today, I received a message "PT-PROR except post-diplome" and it's a document saying "you are authorized to continue working with the same conditions (ie: employer and occupation) until November 16 2021 or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first."

Is that normal ? Why do they say the 16th when my current permit expire the 18th ?

This is normal. Basically they expect the processing of your BOWP to be completed before this date and are confirming you have authorization to continue working until then.

Hi, have you gotten any updates on BOWP yet? I applied on 2nd July and nothing has been done on my application yet.

Hello everyone,

I received an email from IRCC saying that my BOWP has been approved and will expire on March 24, 2022. Address and photo still pending in PR portal since Nov 2021.

A friend of mine got hers extended for 2 years. For me is only 4 months. My passport is not an issue as it will expire by April 2028.

Is there anyway that they will extend this because IRCC is taking so long. I have not received my CoPR yet.
