hello all, i am planning to apply for bowp, aor-28 jan 2020, open work permit is expiring in july 2020. do i need anything from employer to apply for bowp ?

No. It's an open work permit, so your employer has nothing to do with it.

mine is expire in july too. Now i have post gradution open work permit and my aor 13nov will they give me closed or open work permit
 
Should I wait until I get a call to book my biometrics for my PR before I apply for BOWP? There is a questionaire that asks if you have done biometrics in the last ten years and I haven't.

I am waiting to get the call, so I can select "yes" and not have to pay the fee. Should I click yes, since I have already received received the BIL and just waiting for the appointment.

You should still apply regardless.
