BOWP - NAFTA

Greetings.

I have a question about the BOWP, specifically for NAFTA.

I've been working as a NAFTA professional the past few years and have a closed work permit which expires end of this month. I received my AOR for CEC end of last month and it says I can apply for a BOWP.

I understand the requirements for BOWP and I meet those criteria but I'm just not sure if somehow I'm ineligible for it as I currently have a NAFTA work permit.

Any expertise is appreciated.

No, there is nothing that excludes current holders of NAFTA-exempt permits from being eligible for the BOWP. Apply ASAP! If your current permit expires before you apply, you will no longer be eligible...
