BOWP for spouse

Hi -

I am the principal for our CEC application and both my wife and I are currently working here in Canada.
We would like to apply for BOWP for me and my wife since our WP will expire this April 2014 (our employment also ends here).
Can she also be included in my application for BOWP?

Another question:
Once we have the approved BOWP, can we leave the country and re-enter Canada using BOWP (and of course valid temporary VISA)?

Ummm... she needs her own application, she would be eligibile for a spouse's open work permit (on the basis of your BOWP), but you can submit the two applications together.

No, apply together with a cover letter clearly stating you are applying bowp and owp for your wife based on the approval of your bridging. But you need to fill in separate form for her (same form as yours, think it is 5710) and a representative form to authorize you to apply on her behalf. If you follow the questionnaire when you file on line, it allows you to apply for both.
