BOWP - April Applicants

Finally, it's just been approved, almost when my hair turned gray. BOWP for me - April 31st on-line application, BOWP for my wife - May 1st on-line application, Visitor record for my son - May 1st on-line application.

Thanks everybody for sharing their experience. I don't think much people left without their permits in this thread, for those I wish soon approval.

great .but my case my three old child only got approved me n spouse not yet.how he stay without our permit.

@mannual , Any update on your case. I guess they process visitor visa separately and BOWP applications separately.

no nothing hear.yah different visa office for visitors I think it's in Ottawa.for Bowp in viggerville Ab.not sure .ill call them Monday

Yes, April 1st, tried several case-specific inquiries, hot-line calls. Not updates yet. Nobody at CIC seems to have a clue why the application is delayed. I'm on implied status since July 12th. This is not fun.

same here bodd. We r implied status since july .my-spouse company not giving her work as she is implied .its really hard here .cic doesn't even Reply case specify enquiries.thats what's called human rights and equall opportunity in Canada

i applied BOWP on oct 6, 2015. Any idea about the processing time.
my open work permit will expire on dec 2015

Need advice from anyone done with BOWP (Bridging open work permit),
I called the CIC call centre but they told me weird thing, they told me that BOWP can only sent using mail, not online.
And they said that "you must send an Application to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay as a Worker to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta."

my question is , are there anyone done the Bowp online before??? please advise.
