@rs572 did you travel outside? I’m in a similar case and has no job at the moment, I want to visit home country for a while but I’m worries they won’t let me back.

hi, I am on spousal open work permit. I’ve been living in canada since 2019. My husband and I have submitted for pr (Aor 2020) and our work visas are expiring on april..so last month, we applied for bowp and it was approved few days ago. My husband has a job so I think it will be okay if I left and come back after 3 weeks.

I am still in Canada..Technically, if you have valid open work permit with valid TRV of multiple entry, you are good to go.
Do you have valid TRV? Do not forget, you will have to undergo quarantine period of both countries. so it will be 1 month and 3 weeks total.

yes I do have valid TRV.. until 2022. I think I will go for it, haven’t seen my elderly mom for two years. Since I don’t have a job now, I figured it is the best time to go.
