BOWP and PR question

Please help me with this situation..
I have Work Permit which is about to expiry in Jan 2014 and I have applied for PR under CEC and got AOR in July 2013.
I am planning to apply for BOWP in early November. My question is
1) how long is BOWP is valid ? my understanding is that it is for One year . Please confirm.
2)If I get my BOWP and if for some reasons ( I hope not !) my PR got rejected, then still can I be here legally with BOWP ? or I should leave Job and Canada ?
3) Assuming I apply for PR again , can I extend my BOWP or re-apply BOWP.

Yes, it is valid for 1 year from the date of issue
2)If I get my BOWP and if for some reasons ( I hope not !) my PR got rejected, then still can I be here legally with BOWP ? or I should leave Job and Canada ?
You can work upto the validity of your BOWP
3) Assuming I apply for PR again , can I extend my BOWP or re-apply BOWP.
Decision is made by CIC on case by case basis
