I am 62 years old, born in the US in1956 to a Canadian mother who then became a US citizen in 1966. She died this year. Am I eligible for a Canadian passport? Please advise. Thank you!
Not sure why you are looking for new citizen at this point but if you are considering moving to Canada I would do some research. Things like having to still pay US taxes, higher property costs and cost of living, etc may change your mind. It's not only free healthcare and there are actually many things that aren't free.

I think you're replying to the wrong thread. The OP was asking if she is eligible for a Canadian passport, not about moving to Canada.
