Booking for IELTS exam

Hi everyone,

I am planning to book for the IELTS exam in NY. I have a question regarding the organization that conducts the IELTS exam. I know that there are organizations IDP, British Counsel & Cambridge assessment English that showing on ielts.org web site.

But when I tried to book for the exam by searching the "IELTS test centers", I am being re-directed to a web site "https://www.ielts.org/en-us/book-a-test/find-a-test-location".

Do we have a separate web sites to attend the IELTS test for IDP or British Counsel or Cambridge assessment English?

Ultimately, which organization's IELTS test I will be attending?

Please clarify me. Thanks in advance

Hi - You can check for test centers individually accessing IDP/BC websites. Usually both have separate locations. Once you have decided the venue, you can use that platform to register for the IELTS. All the best!

It makes no difference at all, the three of them owns IELTS and their names will appear on your certificate anyway, the only advantage you might benefit is to find a testing center that provide computer-based exam which i assume they are rare!

Hello.. I am trying to book a test center from the above mentioned link "https://www.ielts.org/en-us/book-a-test/find-a-test-location". I am near Chicago.. I could not find any location which has dates in the next month or so.The earliest available is the last week of April.Is there any other site or option to book an earlier date in the midwest or in general
