hi, i was told by my friend living in vancouver who consulted a bank officer from scotia bank that you need to book an appointment to open a bank account as it is hard to open a bank account when you walk in.
I just want to verify that.
I am intending to open a bank account in scotia bank.
As indicated, an Appointment is not mandatory. However if you book one, you can expect that the Bank Official will be available around that time to assist you.
I did mine through walk in. No fuss. Got everything done in about an hour or so at scotiabank.
The may require appointment is there are alrdy customers in queue that day who also wants to open an account. If indeed the case, you may make an appointment at hat moment for the next available time slot.
