BLS VISA Processing time

Hi, I applied for my son's entry visa for India through BLS. It's been more then 2 weeks now and current status is Processing at consulate general.
I called BLS but they are telling me it is under process and wait for it.
If anyone had same issue please share how much time it will take now? And does the status mean Visa is approved? We are travelling on Oct 23rd.

Hi @Gus17... Are you able to advise when did you eventually get the Entry visa and where you able to board that flight u initially booked for?

I have applied for the same entry visa for my son on Dec 31st and till today i.e. after 21 days , the tracking states :

Under Process
In Transit from BLS Centre to Consulat General

It seems the application hasnt even reached the consulate. Is there anything i can do to followup or fast track this?

Appreciate any help you provide.

I have submitted it on 2nd Feb. and currently it is saying:

Hi, I didn't find any other threads relating to India tourist visa for Canadians. I am trying to see if anybody has recently applied for tourist visa for India and what the timelines are ?

Yeah you can apply for a Tourist visa via BLS by post.
