For anyone else stumbling on this thread, canceling appointments is no longer possible. When I initially booked my slot, I was only able got dates 7 weeks later. When I checked a few weeks later, there were a lot of new slots where every day was open for the next 5 weeks.
You have to wait for 1 week after the initial appointment and book again.
The rep suggested that I do a mail in option instead. I suspect that they don't allow cancelations anymore because they can make more money from the postal service. He was very pushy about picking the postal option when I asked how walk ins go. I insisted that I'd wait for my Canadian passport before going for the postal option. He wanted to send me a shipping label during the call and I had to refuse thrice. Once he realized I wasn't going to be forced into the mail-in option during the call, he said "Is there anything else?" with a frustrated and whiny tone and cut the call before I had a chance to answer.
Hmm...called the customer care ...they said i have to wait 3 weeks to wait for cancelling the previous missed appointment or book a premium service through the website...they asked me to do a walk in, and am gonna try premium once in the bls centre.how long dies it take for the passport to reach home

I am getting same issue. i booked my appojntment but unfortunately something was wrong with my documents and they sent me back. I called bls to remove that appointment from my account but they r sayjng i have to wait 21 business days. i tried walk in but they sent me back. I dont want courier service as its risky bcoz i have to pay extra shipping label charges nd in case if something is wrong with the documents, they ll send it back and wont refund money. Then again i have to pay extra charges to send it again. Can anybody help me out??? Pleaseeeee

No no I cant go with that. One of my friend has already lost her passport. And one guy told me that in case of any eroor in ur form, they will send it back and wont refund u anything. So its quite scary process.

Actually my frnd tried courier service but not the premium lounge one. But for premium lounge also, u still need to book an appointment. I am trying but still getting an error and thats the main reason I am here asking for help
