BLS India Application status tracking

Hi,

What are the different statuses that can appear at various levels of processing for in BLS site. I applied a couple of days ago for a PCC and my status is "Under Process". Does this not change to "Application sent to Embassy" sometime from now until finally when it is "Ready for Collection" ?

No, It is always "Under Process". My wife has received her PCC, but the status is still "Under Process" :'(

Thats terrible. I guess you had opted for courier. I didn't opt for it as I live close to BLS and thought of picking it up. If it is always Under Progress how will people like me will ever know that the PCC is available.

Could not resist to add my comment here .. Even after receiving my PCC from them for more than 5 weeks it still shows 'Under Process'..

Mine is showing ready to dispatch from last couple of days but didnt get it....I have no idea how it works?

Probably you can call-in to check or walk-in if you are closer by. Can you let me know when did you apply for PCC and from where?

I applied in last week of June in Toronto

Wow that was pretty quick going by the standards! You are lucky
Is ur PCC address back in India a state capital (example Chennai, Bangalore) or some district HQ?
I heard for cities like Bangalore, Chennai PCC is done quickly rather than other towns in the state.

NO it was from Punjab though but i didnt get it yet so it can b just fault in there system, still i ill wait till tomorro.w eve and then shout on BSL

I applied mine on 18 june and was done on 7 july and now it says dispatched via courier..
It also provided a tracking number now. So i guess i will receive it by 15 july.

Thats awesome. From the looks of it, the usual time seems like 3 weeks for PCC now.

No, they don't. In my case they just needed a copy.

My wife and I applied on 09-Jul. The status on BLS today for my wife's application is "Ready for Collection". Hard to believe that it was done in just a week's time. My application is still under progress.

Its just by luck i think, mine is still ready to dispatch but seems like nobody haven't even touch it ..so still need to wait ???
