I was wondering, the letters from my parents and her parents..they mostly say that we have a genuine love relationship and talks about my visits to their place and her visit to Canada and the wedding etc......is it ok or it has to be more like..." how wonderful is this person, the best ever, etc... "

The letters should be talking about how they think your relationship is genuine, about how in love you two are. So they are not really character references for the applicant. A little bit about how they think the applicant is good for the sponsor, or why they think he/she is a good person, is fine, but the letters should really stress the relationship.

Having letters of support from both sides is better. I only got support letters from my husband's side, and the appeal judge wanted to know why no one in my family supported the marriage.

It's like.....

he came here, we saw our daughter in love, we presented him to the family, it was a nice time, we had fun....my daughter is really in love, I can see it in her eyes and by her comments she tells me etc???

Yes, that sounds good. Keep in mind that each affidavit/letter/email of support you get will be different, and that is a good thing. If you give the people guidelines (like mentioned earlier in this thread), then each will write a highly personal letter. You don't want them to all sound the same, because then it makes it look like you told them what to say or even just wrote them yourself.

Parents can start from when their child first talked about their new love interest, then continue as you have written. They can also express how they feel about the match - "I'm so glad my daughter has found a stable, decent man to settle down with." Or something like that.
