Hello all,
I applied for Canadian Student Visa under SPP category for Jan'14 intake. I submitted my application on 07th Oct'13 at VFS New Delhi.
This morning, I received an automated email from CIC with an attachment. When I opened up the attached file it was a standard approval letter of student/work visa. However, everything which needs to be filled was blank. My application number, validity to enter Canada, Passport number etc none of the details are filled in.
Is it a standard way of sending Approval letter ??
It leaves me confused! Don't really know if I should actually consider this as an approval without anything mention on it.

Lol first of all congratulations for your visa approval
The pdf file is not actually blank. It is filled you need to have latest version of adobe reader to read it properly or you can go to cafe to get a print out.
Earlier, I checked on my phone & nothing was there, I was kind of Surprised. However, On your advice when I looked up on my Laptop it did appear. Great! Thanks a ton ;D
To be honest, I still can't believe my application got processed within 3 days of submission of my file.
I applied under SPP for Advance Diploma Course ' Aviation Management ' from Georgian College, ON.
I had my documents all set up for submission in July for Sept'13 Session but I got delayed because of GIC. Then, I had to request for a fresh Acceptance Letter from the college for Jan'14 intake.
I simply followed SPP checklist and submitted my documents nothing more/less than what was required. And the result is sweet.
Monday, 07th Oct'13 at 1545Hrs - I submitted my papers at VFS, New Delhi
Friday, 11th Oct'13 at 1015Hrs - I got an email from CIC confirming my Visa has been approved.
