My father was born in Regina Saskatchewan Canada in 1913 to US citizens. He and his family lived there for a few years then moved to the US . How would i get a copy of his birth certificate ? Would his birth there make him a Canadian citizen and would I also be a Canadian citizen even tho I was born (in 1953) in the US?
Thank you for your help, you would think I could find this online but can't seem to navigate to the proper vital statistics.

However, only certain people are allowed to order another person's birth certificate. Read the first link "Who Can Apply for a Birth Certificate".
Thanks for the response. The list of people who can get a copy does not list children of a deceased parent. I'm writing the Vital Statistics to see if anything can be done.
