I don't have birth certificate for me and my wife. I heard we need to file some affidavit with higher secondary certificate which have date of birth.
Please let me know the process for getting such affidavit.

Hi skm,
If you are from India, then you can get the birth certificate and PCC together from Indian Consulate. They give you the certificate based on your passport. You can attach that along with secondary school certificate in your CEC Application.

I think you don't even need Affidavit, just provide your secondary school records. which has DOB, parent name and your name.
Birth Certi from consulate based on Passport is rejected by CIC, my was rejected earlier. They have asked to provide secondary school certi and nothing was mentioned about affidavit.
