My mother changed her name before I was born (name A to name B). Her present name (name B) is shown on almost all documents (Marriage Certificate, ID card, etc) except for my Brith Certificate which shows her previous name instead (name A).
The only evidence of her name change is her proof of residency in China from the 2000s (which shows both her previous and present names, id number, photo), with stamp approval from the local police station.
I previously applied for my work permit with my mother's present name, will it be an issue during the PR application? And since Birth Certificate is required when applying for PR, should I submit the proof of residency to prove both names are from the same person? And do I fill either the previous or present name in the parents' section ( imm5669/imm5406 - Mother`s detail)?
