Hi Every1!
I dont have birth certificate. Is it possible and acceptable if i make one now? Because it is mentioned in the checklist for 2nd stage that 'Birth certificate is only acceptable if registration was being made after the birth'? :-\
Regards
make one know? - I think you mean get one now.
If you do not have DOB or it is in language which is not Canadian official language (English & French);
you can provide DOB on basis of your passport.
I am not sure it I am able to make you understand what I am saying, so I am sharing my experience;
my DOB is not in English; so I submitted my passport to consulate of India (in USA) for DOB; on basis of DOB mentioned in my passport;
they issued me DOB certificate on their letter head in English (acceptable language to Canada).
No birth certificate is required for principal applicant. DOB can be shown from many documents- education, PP etc. Birth certificate of children are required.
