Hi,
For the birth certificate in IMM5690 section 13 form, do I need to send the original notarised translation or a copy of it would also work. It is mention in the form that "copies unless otherwise stated". I guess copy of notarised translation is enough.
Thanks
As far as I know you should bring your original birth certificate to a public notary. He/she will make a copy and will certify that it is a true copy of your original birth certificate. If your birth certificate not in english or french, then you need to translate that stamped true copy with an authorized translator and send to CIC.
What I did was I translated my birth certificate to English and attached to the translation was a true copy of my birth certificate. I wanna know can I send a copy of that translation to CIC ? because I don't have the original translation anymore and my birth certificate is not with me in Canada.
Thanks
