Biometrics in Canada?

Hello there

My wife applied for a work permit and they are asking for biometrics. She is currently in Canada as a visitor. I don't see any VAC center listed inside Canada and the closest one is in New York. Any solution?

Hi I'm from Phillipines
I entered Canada as a visitor last December 2018 and i applied to open work permit.

Does it counts when i entered Canada by air in my arrival there was a electronics or a machine that i scan my passport take my picture and fingerprint

Does it counts as a Biometrics?
