Hi, I have already submitted my wife's PR+OWP application (all fees paid including bio fee)late last month and currently still waiting for the letter to collect her biometrics. Meanwhile, since she has been in Canada close to 6 months mark now, we have also applied for her VR (all fees paid including bio fee)to extend her stay and has already received her biometrics letter.
I have two questions here, hopefully someone with experience can helpout
1. let's assume, Services Canada does not open till later date and she get her bio request for her PR+OWP application later, do we need two biometrics here for both of these applications?
2. if one biometrics is good enough to fulfill both PR+OWP and VR application, how can I get the additional $85 bio fee refund? or if we receive the bio letter for her PR+OWP later, we can just withdraw her VR application completely because she has the implied status already.
