Biometrics collection from another country

Hi,

I submitted my PR Express Entry application on the 12th of January, 2021 and got a request recently for collecting my fingerprints and photo (biometrics) at a collection center. I am Indian residing in India and currently all centers across the country are not accepting appointments for PR Applicants, only students and family class visas are currently being accepted.

I was wondering if this is possible to do it from another country, e.g. can I go to Dubai and submit my biometrics there as the centers are open currently. Is that acceptable and has anyone done something similar

Any ideal what is the biometrics process. Will they take my passport. I am assuming no.
