Hi folks,
My mother and sister have applied for visitor visa from India on May 31 and they got biometric letter on June 1st.
My sister is doing a medical internship at a remote location and she cannot travel to give biometrics until July 10 but this date exceeds the biometric due date mentioned in the letter (July 2nd). My mother cannot travel alone and will go to the vfs center together with my sister.
They both submitted webforms, explaining the situation and asking for extension for biometrics on June 2nd but there has been no response so far from ircc.
What will happen if they can't give biometrics within 30 days of receiving the biometric letter and doesn't get response from ircc either? Can they still request for biometrics appointment after 30 days or VFS will refuse to give appointments if the due date is past?
It looks like appointments are given within 5-10 days of request so my mother and sister don't want to submit the request to VFS right now and wait until my sister is ready to travel to the VfS center.
