Everything except the 4 out of 6 residency requirement, the income tax filing, and the stripping of citizenship from dual citizenship if convicted of terrorism.

Revoking passport is not the same of stripping dual citizenship. Even non-dual Canadians can be refused to be offered a passport when they apply, if they are considered to be a threat to Canada's national security or any other country's national security.
I heard that someone said under c-24, you can apply for citizenship after staying there 4 years continuously even before reaching 6 years? is that true? Thanks.

You can apply for citizenship 4 years after landing as PR. But you would still have to list where you have been for last 6 years period. In other words, you may have to list where you have been 2 years before you became PR.
Hi all,
Can someone clarify whether C-24 bill is applicable for all irrespective whether the person got their PR before / after the bill is passed ?
I was hoping that people who got the PR before this rule passed will be eligible as per the old laws i.e. 3 years stay out of 4 years and also couting the stay before the PR (half) .

This entire thread would clarify that -- you apply based on what the rules are when your citizenship application is received, nothing at all to do with when you got PR.

Based on what? Do you have the cutoff date that we are all not aware of? How is it the July applicant have a good chance. You are making an assumption that CiC will delay the 4/6 rule to august/september.
Based on the given information from a local MP who is familiar with the internal policies of CIC.

I am focusing on the topic. You are telling everyone that July applicants have a good chance when the question was asked if he can apply under 3/4 rule in July. Meanwhile you were telling everyone to wait until CIC makes the official announcement of the date and not rely on call centre's. So please don't make assumptions about the cut off dates either. There was no direct discussion about your personality.
