BIL Received but Medical Status unchanged

Hi All,

The following is my timeline:
eAOR: May 22, 2020
BIL: July 13, 2020

I am in Canada and cannot give biometrics at the moment since all biometrics collection points are closed. I received the BIL on July 13 2020 but my medical status is still unchanged and says You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes. Also, the BIL is the first update that I have received since my eAOR, nothing in between.

Progress bar is at 29%

Is it normal to receive BIL and not have the medicals updated? Usually from what I've seen, both should be done at almost the same time? Please do correct me if I am wrong.

My AOR date was also same May 22,but I didn’t receive any update on profile.No progress bar appeared yet

This is common and happened with me as I got BIL even though I submitted LOE for medicals. I submitted me medical after BIl receipt and medical was passed 2 weeks upon submission. So don’t worry

Update:
I got Medicals Passed on 16th July 2020. Now waiting for Service Canada to open so I can go give biometrics.

How do you see the progress bar on your PR profile?

You'll see it when the application status changes from "Submitted" to "Processing"

I just got medicals as well. Wait for some time, you will get it

I got a biometric letter on 23 Sep and still waiting for a medical update and got a call for biometric appointment today.
