He applied for Quebec skilled worker for my brother in November 2012, he never gave any updates on the file not even the AOR. Kept asking for updates of file and now after 2 years of waiting, my brother called MICC only to know that his file was sent back in August 2014 because the credit card payment was denied. It was even sent to the consultant's old address since he failed to update it. When confronted the consultant, he kept accusing MICC that they did something wrong and that he paid for the application but he's a liar because it doesn't take 2 years to pay for an application, he must have got it returned before and never informed us and kept asking for documents update and then finally sent it not long ago only to get the payment denied. And what's worse, he says he never received the file back and I'm sure it's not true because he doesn't want to admit he did something wrong. Imagine if my brother hadn't called, he would still be waiting for years without news and the file was sent back long time ago. So now 2 years lost waiting gone in vain and my brother has to do the process all over again and get all his docs and pass the french test to apply in April when they reopen Quebec skilled workers program.
Beware of this consultant George Khalil from Horizons Immigration Canada Inc. and if you have any files with him, I suggest you keep calling immigration to check up on your files because he sure won't do that and doesn't care, all he wants is money. He's not even aware of the immigration changes to the laws and whenever I told him about them he would be surprised. He's a shame to all consultants and should be banned from working on any immigration file ever again.
