Just wanted to know which is better of the two options: taking educational loan from bank or sponsorship from father? I have 17,000 CAD in my personal account and looking for additional 8,000 CAD to bolster my bank statement. Please advise which option will improve my chances of getting visa.
Thanks.

i applied on my uncle statement and then they refused me by stating that i dont have personal assets. So if u show loan or fathers statement both are ok. But in my opinion loan would be preferred because they are ur personal assets and are in ur own account.
It is not appropriate for me to ask u to tell me what is the procedure of getting loan from allied bank??? Can u give me ur number?

Do all banks in Pakistan have same procedure and criteria for loan against FD? Or is there any bank which specialises in giving educational loan?
I would also like to bring up an issue that has been discussed on this forum before for my and others' understanding. It's that of running finance vs fixed loan.
Although banks are offering loan against FD, they still term it running finance. Why is it? What exactly is the procedural difference between the two? We all know CHC does not accept running finance; this contradiction if removed will help many candidates.
Thanks
