If I receive ITA and get my second IELTS results after this then will my better IELTS score still be considered and lead to an increase in my CRS score ?
I am asking this to know that if while applying for PR, I am unable to provide reference letters and due to which my CRS score goes down, then the increase from better IELTS score can still keep me eligible to apply for PR.
i'd also like to add if i may, i haven't added my wife's ECA points (around 7 more), because it was taking too long. i'm meeting the cutoffs and hopefully will get an ITA
does it make sense to add the points if i've already got an ITA?

No point of adding or increasing score if you already have an ITA.
The whole idea of the point system is to get ITA. If you have it..work on post ITA activities rather working on something which will result in nothing more than what you already have...viz: ITA.

There is a master thread, just look for it. Once you have reached that situation start a new thread or ask in the master thread.
IN summary, you can get a letter from colleague, notarized letter with the visiting card of issuing member, an email from employer refusing to give you letter etc etc.
