Being outside of Canada as PR and sponsor my wife

Hi guys, if someone can help me with this question:
I am going to sponsor my wife to Canada, I am PR and I know I have to stay in Canada to sponsor her.

Does this means I can not go out of Canada since the moment my wife and me submit our applications as PR applicant and sponsor applicant? or I can be outside Canada during a maximum number of days? If I work outside Canada for a canadian company remotely, it also affects my time in Canada?please let me know how this works.

You cannot stay for over 3 weeks outside of Canada. You MUST physically be living in Canada for the duration or else your application may be rightfully denied.
