where do you look for timelines of how long it takes average for people to get PR? Does anyone know the average timeline for China/Beijing if applying outland? Since she's here with me should she just apply inland and get the work permit? She has 11 months left on her PGWP

As far as I know, Beijing doesn't process family class applications anymore. All Chinese who applied outland are processed at the Hong Kong visa office.

Since your spouse is already in Canada, it could be as little as 4-6 months from what I've been seeing lately.

My wife's application was processed in Hong Kong instead of Beijing, like luckysomething mentioned. Our application was submitted early August and approved late November.
