Hi everyone, wish you all patience and PPR. my study permit was approved for a 2 year master program for the winter , but due to personal problems, I deferred to May 2021, I have a 2 year visa stamped in my passport from January 2021 to January 2023. Now my question is if my university makes the summer term (May2021) online, do I need to travel to Canada and continue online from there or can I study online from my home country and maybe go to Canada on September 2021. I read something about the amount of time that students can study online on IRCC website, and it says you can finish 50% of your study before April 2021, so does this mean I cannot be online anymore or what? thanks

Studying online beyond April 30th 2021 will render you ineligible for PGWP regardless of where you stay.

Few Universities and colleges are still adamant to conduct in person classes only, depends on the COVID-19 situation on that region.

Defer studies or change the DLI after arriving in Canada but it's a risk and only works out if you do it the right way.
