Hi All,
Just thought I would add a post as I'm sure people are wondering what the most recent timelines are.
In my case I'm doing my PR with BCPNP under my partner as it makes it more streamlined.
After being allocated a BCPNP spot we applied November 20, 2021. Current work permit expires March 07, 2022. (so cutting it fine)
Nomination Approved Feb 23rd, 2021 (6 months given to apply for PR)
Work permit applied at the border via Flagpole at Boundary Bay which took 3 hrs mid week for both mine and my partners permits. As this was tied to my partners job we had to go mid week incase they wanted to verify with employer.
Work permits were issued for 2 years.
Hi,
How did you flagpole? So If you flagpole, the Work permit is done within 3 hours?

It was three hours for us but they said it was much busier than usual for mid-week. However, expect much longer times on the weekends.
Here is a link on the flag pole process:

Thank You! So you needed to have a valid work permit when you flagpoled, right?
