Hello,
My friend is M. Tech plus PHD (Residential Solar Photovoltaic System) and an associate professor in Engineering college since last 16 years. He had worked in different industry as Electrical Engr. as well as Electronic Instrumentation Engr for over 10 years. Given his age of 48 years, his express entry score will not be sufficient enough to be selected from the pool. Based on particular NOC matching with his education, can he apply for BC PNP Tech Pilot program through? Is tech Pilot program connected with EE ?
Thanks a lot. So, since he has education and past experience matching with NOC 2133 - Electrical and electronics engineers and 2241 Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians which is among the list of 29 Eligible Occupations for the BC PNP Tech Pilot program, he can apply for this program, right?
No, he applies once he has a valid job offer in BC that is full time, with no end date and a salary that meets or exceeds median standards. The employer would have to show that a canadian/PR couldn’t be found for the job.
