Hello everyone,

I understand that within 90 days of moving to B.C., a new immigrant (from a country not part of the licence exchange agreement) can take the class 5 road test (after passing the knowledge test for course). I would like to know:

1. what if I fail this road test? Will I be awarded an N license straight away? Or I still need to take the class 7 road test if I want to get the N license?

2. Within this 90-day period, can I retake the class 5 road test again (assuming I manage to get a test slot)?

Thank you for your contribution in advance : )

You can get your full license after 90 days. If you fail the road test, you can repeat as many times until you passed.
