Bank Statements or Pay Slips

I got an email requesting me to provide bank statements or pay slips of at least 6 months for professional works I did for all my employers. I held two job positions in China, one of the companies had to shut down. I am not sure if it's possible to get pay slips for the other. Bank statements are a no-go because I'm currently not staying in China and it's impossible to request for a bank statement if not in person. I can get the pay slips for the other two jobs I did in Ghana as I am currently here. How do I explain this to the RCIC? Will an explanation letter cut it? Please help as I've got only 30 days to submit them and I have no idea where to begin.

That's a tough situation. Try with explanation letter maybe it can help.
