Wondering if any bangladeshis have had luck getting visit visas for their spouses after applying to sponsor them? I am a Canadian citizen but my wife is Bangladeshi. We are currently in the 'in process' stage of our application. I want her to come visit me in Canada but I know the odds of getting a visa are very low. Has any body on this forum had success doing so? Please share your stories and strategies if you have!
I just got a TRV and I am a Bangladeshi, with PR application submitted. When we applied, then Ecas status was "Application Received". But within the TRV processing time, it changed to "In Process"
It all depends on luck - no guarantees. But harder for Bangladeshis - many people get rejected. But I know of 2/3 ppl from Bangladesh with Spouse application submitted who got TRVs approved.
However, if it is in process already - it should be 3/4 months more from what i hear - do you want to go through all the hassle?
