hi. Does anyone know how the process works or requirements required when i go back to Philippines for 1 month vacation leave?
I have only been here in Canada for 6 months as a live-in caregiver and is planning to go to Philippines March 2013 until April 2013. I have a 2 year contract and has a multiple entry visa (W1) but my work permit that was attached to my passport when I entered Vancouver Immigration states "NO RE-ENTRY".
Do i need to go to the Canadian Embassy in Manila to re-apply for the work permit or just wait til i go through vancouver immigration when i get back?
Do i still need to provide the POLO verification to POEA when applying for the renewal of my OEC?

1. You have a multiple entry TRV and the work permit that is all you need to return to Canada. The "NO Re-Entry" is for those persons who DON"T have a TRV and require one to enter Canada.
You have to get OEC from the Philippine Consulate before going to the Philippines..just bring with you your valid work permit,letter from your employer stating the date of your coming back here in Canada,your passport,and Can$ 2.75 for a fee..the validity of OEC is 60 days from the day of issuance. .The POLO (PHILIPPINE CONSULATE ) located at 161 Eglinton Ave east. just get off at Redpath Ave. ( in case you are leaving in Toronto area)....Good luck.

Good day.... I'm planning to go to d Philippines with my son (he is 3months now) this oct '14. I'm on maternity leave, I just finished my contract under. LCP and got the open work permit. Right now I don't have an employer.
My question is how will apply for the Balik manggagawa clearance, I don't have a new work contract and letter from employer.
Please advise for the requirements that I will need to provide and how will apply for the Balik Mangagawa Clearnce.
