Background/ Security Check

Hi everyone, I have few question if you could pls help
1- What is the differnce between background check and security?
2- how long will it usually takes?
3- is this check for everyone who applies? Or just randomly ppl?
4- does the check up depend on the countries you visit or just your home country?

from my understanding background check and security check are two different things.
background is about u, ur family, ur culture and traditions, religion etc while security check is about u and all places u have lived and to be sure that u are what u say u are.

it does not really have any specific time as long it did not go past the time of the process.

yes the checks for everybody as far as you put in an application.

checks for ur country and other countries u have lived 6 months and more..

So how long this check will last do you know?
done remedical since Nov 2015 no update I was told the file is in background check so I just want to know how long does it take

Normally how many weeks it takes after submitting the background Deceleration form?

like I say no one can determine that but u can be looking around 4-8 months

But how come some people get ppr a month right after Remedical why their bavkground check takes less time,
Why for some the background check takes longer

you need to observe their timeline, the time they submitted their application and to the time of remedical to ppr.
