Hello everybody ! Im so frustrated after i had my interview on the 8th of October 2013 and i have been told that i got accepted and ill have to wait for 2 to 3 months for background checks to be done . its been more than 3 months now and no answer even though i never lived somewhere more than 6 months . My med will expire soon and it will be so unfair because even now i have been waiting more than 9 months and i don't see why is taking this long for this background checks , i asked my lawyer but they said don't bother the embassy hah . what should i do ??????
thanks for sharing
salam binono, I think since you are over the 8 month mark posted for the VO, have your wife contact her MP (member of Parliament) in Canada and they will contact the embassy. Usually the MP will get quicker/more information than the applicant directly. If you wife need help to find her MP let me know and I will send you my email so your wife can contact me.
yes, he should be doing it since he is charging you money, but embassy will treat him same if you or your wife asked the question. But when a member of canadian government contacts them they seem to be replying quicker.
Here is the link I found for your wife. She has to make her postal code from her address where she lives and it will give her the name and contact information for her MP that represents her in the Canadian Government.
I understand your frustration, it is taking long, inchallah you get your visa before medicals expire, otherwise more delays , since it seem Rabat is not extending medicals , Arljam and Claudia's husband (from morocco thread) just re-did theirs medicals and are also waiting for any information or visa.
Thank you very much ! my wife will contact them tonight m but i have last question please , Does this presenter help by anyway to . because i never broke the law and i already been told that i got accepted?
it will make them pull the file from the shelf where it is waiting. so yes, as soon as they contact embassy the MP will get information what is the status. at least you will find out what the status is.
Thank you very much Because iv been reading that the MP can make some delays . do you know anyone done that with trier MP and have no problem ?
im really sorry for asking alot
la shokran ala wajib . sorry I practice my moroccan hhhhh its ok I understand you are waiting and not hearing from the VO is really hard. I dont know anyone personally, i read if you do it too early it is not advisable, but I have read in the forum some people had good success in getting information. Maybe post new thread if it's worth contacting MP if you are past the VO posted timeline Maybe people with experience can give you an idea.
binono, i also found this link for case specific question to visa office. I think if you fill out with your information it will go directly to the person responsible for your file.
maybe try and send them a question to find out the status of the background search as you are concerned that your medical will be expiring soon. It may prompt the visa officer to look into it.
