Background check takes long. Ours has been in process since Feb 2018. We are in further review. Set yourself up to wait 16-17 months from the date you applied. You don't have a straight forward app.

This can be extended its up to the officer. There was one guy had an interview Nov 2017 left his passport and he didn't get it back until Aug 2018.
