Request for Police Certificate (PCC) is normal if the PCC is missing.......Background Check may or may not have been started......Background Check takes awhile to complete.
In your online account linked to you application......check the application Status.....the Background Check message....(1) or (2).....will tell you;
1.) Background Check: “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”
2.) Background Check: “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“
Just a question, if Im gonna quit my work now, should I let the visa office know Im unemployed, cause I wrote there employed? Will it take my application even longer to process? Will it affect my background check? Cause at this stage they started processing my bcg. Have anyone experienced this?
When you submitted your spousal sponsorship.....you were employed.....and correct to write "employed".....if you quit your job now, you don't have to inform visa office.
