Background check before medical

I have applied for privately sponsored refugee claim. They didn't request me for medical check up but was reported for background check at my interview time.

Please, could i know how long does it take for a refugee for background check and when will they call me for medical?

Hi , where have you given your interview ?
Often people get their medical checkup request after the interview though for some they receive medical request bit late.

Again it might have something with your brothers case to check his background first before his medicals. Hopefully he will receive his medicals soon inshallah..
