Hi. I current live in the US. I graduated with a High School Diploma in Accounting Technician from my country. I came to the US and I started working as General Accountant in 2000. I started college in 1999. However, I dropped out and went back several times. Finally, I graduated wit a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics only in 2008, 8 years after I started working as a General Accountant. DO you think that the CIC will find it strange that I worked as General Accountant a way before I got my bachelor degree?
You can get pushed into a job without a degree (happens all the times), gain experience in that profession and want to pursue that carrier, later you can complete your degree in that profession - I see nothing wrong - You are now a degree holder concerning the profession you are working in. Working class people don't usually complete their degree in 4 years because they work full time and study part time and time management sometimes is a challenge in these kind of situations.
