I am planing to apply for TRV or TRP for my kid who was born outside Canada. Does anyone know what are the required documents I need to submit to the consulate.

You need to provide more details before anyone can answer properly.

Are you PR? Are you Canadian? What country are you in? Some countries are visa exempt, others not.

It would be similar to any TRV application for people with your child's nationality. In addition, you'll want to explain why you want one (especially if you are Canadian PRs, to screech's point).
