I wanted to know i have applied for the authorization letter on 6th of january can you please tell me till what time i can expect of getting a reply from ircc i am having a visitor visa and need to go with my wife to get her settled in canada for her initial days .

So you have a visitor visa and waiting on the authorization. It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to months.

Not great if you only want to come to Canada temporarily. The risk of covid spread is not usually having someone enter temporarily. It is hot or miss when it comes to approvals or refusals.

I applied on the 1st of January and according to them it takes 14 business days. But I haven't gotten any response till date. What is your proposed travel date because I also noticed that people get a response towards their travel date. My travel date is in mid February and I am hoping I get a response soon.

So why is your travel essential according to current guidelines. For example, your spouse needs a medical note if unable to get set up in canada without support due to physical issues.

Yes she needs care and support she has some health issue as well as shes new to the place thats why she need me to support her so that she can get established there .

Get your medical documents and doctors‘ notes to submit with application.
